The Georgia Bulldogs currently have a uniform contract with Nike. We have 10 basketball uniforms in our database for the Georgia Bulldogs and are working to add more to Uniform Critics. Feel free to contact us with any uniform designs for this team that we may be missing.

Nike has finally brought Aerographics to Georgia’s basketball uniforms for the 2013-14 season along with a new font that’ll first be seen on the gridiron. The Bulldogs’ shorts will remain the same with double stripes, but perforated side panels will be introduced for enhanced breathability.

Currently, Georgia dons white uniforms with red and silver trim at home, an all-red get up with black accents on the road and a black alternate featuring red side panels. The Bulldogs’ home whites feature a black “GEORGIA” wordmark and red numerals with the school’s primary oval “G” at the left knee on shorts.

The program’s black alternates are a little different with the same color wordmark and numerals. A red collar on the all-blacks is a nice touch.

In the late 1990s before the 21st century redesign to Georgia’s current look, the Bulldogs donned a swoosh template that resembled several other Nike-sponsored schools at the time. Collars, armpits and thigh panels on shorts relied on a heavy use of black since the team had not yet revealed black alternates.

According to Nike, Georgia’s expected typography to change for the 2013-14 season was based on the curvature of the Bulldog’s body type and the famous Arch that is found on the North Campus in Athens.

The Bulldogs’ fall sports teams will be the first to utilize the updated look with other squads transitioning into the system over the next two years.
