For the first time in school history, the Houston Cougars wore gray uniforms. They also wore special helmets with the enlarged “cougar head” logo on one side and a number 2 in honor of the injured D.J. Hayden on the other.
Like the 2011 homecoming uniform, these gray alternate uniforms were auctioned off to benefit the Cougar Pride and UH Alumni Association. “After the success of last year’s auction, we are happy to once again offer this opportunity to our fans,,” Associate Athletics Director for External Relations Jeramiah Dickey said. “As we celebrate our annual Homecoming game, all Cougar fans will want to own a piece of memorabilia from our final season at Robertson Stadium.”
At Uniform Critics, we are constantly looking to add more uniforms to our database and complete the uni history for each team.
